At times life can be frustrating and overwhelming. It seems like things are a lot harder than they need to be or nothing is going right. You don’t have to succumb to the negative effects of hard work. Instead, you can reignite the passion in your dream and start succeeding.

Take everything away from yourself. Stop letting your parents give you money or working your comfortable job. Make your life a struggle. The man with nothing to lose has everything to gain.

See what you COULD have. Take a drive through a rich neighborhood, look at pictures of amazing places in the world, see the successful people in the field you want to be in. Drive yourself to achieve what they have.

Imagine yourself in 10 years. Now look back. Are you doing what you want to do? Do you have any regrets? Did you take that chance that made you realize your dreams, or did you pansy out and take the comfortable unfulfilling road?

Talk to someone much older than you. They usually have plenty of advice on how to live your life. Some of it makes you think and realize how they would have gone for their dreams if they had a second chance. Use their wisdom while you still have your youth.

Picture yourself living your life having achieved your big dream. How does that feel? What is it like? Pretty nice, huh. Well get to it!

Take a look at people who could never follow their dreams. Look at the impoverished, disabled, and meek. Use their handicaps to realize you could be much worse off, and do something about it. Use your abilities and talents and put them to work.

Make yourself as uncomfortable as possible. Make it hard to live in your current situation, however you can. Whether it’s taking away your socialization, or removing material things, you’ve got to be uncomfortable so that you raise your level of “comfort” to be something you can only gain by achieving your dream.

Be accountable. Have people help you by checking on you, making sure you’re going for your dream, and being honest to your face about not doing so. Real constructive criticism is hard to come by and is very refreshing.
